January 10 & 11, 2020
WINTER FESTIVAL - 20th Anniversary! Winter Festival opens Friday, January 10th with Frozen Lights Parade in La Farge, ice skating, Christmas Tree bon fire, followed by live, not to be missed entertainment. The fun continues on Saturday, January 11, 2020 with a full day of Winter Activities that stretch well into the evening. There is something for everyone at Winter Festival. A whole weekend of fun for the entire family! Free admission to the festival grounds. Winter Festival is a wonderful family event that highlights fun winter activities. Activities may include sledding, skiing, archery, snow sculpture, ice cave hikes, chain saw carving, wildlife talks & hikes, face painting, horse-drawn bobsled rides, snowshoe exhibit, Tri-state Malamute Club Sled Dog Race and weight pull. Bring your child and your dog and try out the Dog Sled Mutt Fun Run. Snow mountain & snow tunnel, Snow Snake Competition, Fat Tire Bike Demonstrations and more. La Farge Lions Club hosts an annual chili and bread contest for the public. Our neighbors at Wildcat Mountain State Park host a candlelight ski/hike/snowshoe and winter star gazing that night.
Activities subject to change due to weather conditions. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
