Workshops, Hikes & Programs for Adults

The Kickapoo Valley Reserve offers various programs for adults and children.

Art workshops offer an encouraging, non-competitive atmosphere to explore your interest in art. You'll find here a diverse selection of topics and instructors suited to budding or established artists.

Our hands-on outdoor community programs provide a chance to learn more about the natural world or to practice new skills. Join us for a relaxing atmosphere with knowledgeable instructors who welcome your curiosity and questions.

The Driftless Dialogue lecture series is a monthly talk on various topics related to the Kickapoo Valley. The program is funded by the Ralph Nuzum Reforestation Fund and sponsored by the Friends of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.

Wisconsin Master Naturalist Training is back!  We are excited to be hosting another round of this volunteer training program, starting August 2024.  For details and registration, please see the Master Naturalist website:

The Kickapoo Reserve Management Board acknowledges that the state and federal lands that comprise the Reserve fall within the ancestral homelands of First Nations people including the Hooçak Nation. We recognize the sovereignty of the Hooçak and other First Nations and will work towards a shared future by continuing to create collaborative opportunities to protect and preserve these lands.
