Horseback and biking trails are open May 1 - November 15.  Hiking is available year round.  All visitors are required to purchase a permit.  Permits are available at the Reserve Visitor Center and thirteen self-registration stations.  You can download an annual visitor permit application form that can be completed and mailed in (see link below).  Please note that trails may be closed on short notice due to wet conditions.  Pets must be on a leash or under voice control.

Special events can be held on the Reserve.  Contact the Reserve Visitor Center for more information and permit fees: (608) 625-2960.  An event permit application form (see link below) is available to download, complete, and mail in.
