As stated in the Master Plan, “The resources of the reserve shall be managed to promote, preserve and enhance its unique natural scenic and cultural features”. The intent of the Reserve is to conserve, restore and maintain the ecology and biodiversity of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, while balancing human needs and recreation.
