Dark Sky Preserves are locations known for outstanding views of the night sky. The Kickapoo Valley Reserve and Wildcat Mountain State Park are proposed Dark Sky Preserves. Wildcat has been known for years for fantastic night sky viewing. There are six recognized Dark Sky Preserves in North America today.

For more information on dark sky preserves visit the International Dark Sky Association or visit the Dark Sky Site Directory.
