  • Beak has yellow base

Habitat

  • Wetlands, shrubby areas

Additional Information

  • Common migrant and summer resident
  • Song --musical trill
  • Submerges head to catch aquatic
         invertebrates
  • Has longer legs than most sparrows
         for wading
  • KVR Breeding bird
