Identification

  • Bright orangish-yellow
  • Small blue-grey to greenish on
         back and wings
  • No wingbars
  • 5” (14cm)

Habitat

  • Floodplain forests

Additional Information

  • One of two warblers that uses cavities for nesting
  • aka golden swamp warbler
  • Typically found in WI along larger rivers
        
    such as Lower Black, Wisconsin,
         and Lower Chippewa rivers.
  • Possible nesting in KVR
